BETMGM PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS TIPS: LITTLER LEADS 14/1 NIGHT 4 ACCA
The 2025 BetMGM Premier League Darts season heads to Exeter for Night 4 as the Westpoint Arena takes centre stage.
Last week in Dublin Gerwyn Price won his first Premier League night since 2023 as he saw off Nathan Aspinall in the final having beaten the Lukes — Littler and Humphries — earlier in the night.
Let’s take a closer look at the Night 4 fixtures and run through the logic behind our 14/1 quarter-finals accumulator as the 2025 BetMGM Premier League season gets ready for a trip south.
BetMGM Premier League Darts Night 4 Fixtures
Michael van Gerwen has won all three of his opening matches so far this BetMGM Premier League season — but lost all of his semi-finals.
He opens proceedings in Exeter when he takes on Rob Cross.
Night 3 winner Gerwyn Price faces Luke Humphries, who he defeated last week at the semi-final stage, while Nathan Aspinall takes on Night 1 runner-up Chris Dobey.
Stephen Bunting, the only player yet to get off the mark in the 2025 BetMGM Premier League, plays defending Premier League and world champion Luke Littler in the last quarter-final tie.
Here is the full quarter-final running order for Night 4:
14/1 BetMGM Premier League Darts Night 4 Acca
- Over 8.5 legs in Michael van Gerwen vs Rob Cross
- Over 6.5 180s in Gerwyn Price vs Luke Humphries
- Nathan Aspinall to beat Chris Dobey
- Luke Littler to be King of the Oche (match winner, highest checkout and most 180s) vs Stephen Bunting
Leg 1 – Over 8.5 legs in Michael van Gerwen vs Rob Cross @ 1/3
Van Gerwen has started well in every night of the BetMGM Premier League this year but has been unable to continue his success into the semi-finals.
He has six points — having won all of his quarter-finals, including against Luke Littler on Night 1 — but his lack of success beyond this keeps him out of the top two spots in the table.
Cross has just one win to his name so far: his opening game of the 2025 BetMGM Premier League in Belfast. He has two titles to his name already this year though, in the Bahrain Masters and a Players Championship event, so Van Gerwen faces a battle to make it four out of four quarter-final wins.
These two met on five occasions in last year’s Premier League, with Cross winning three.
It is a close one to call, with three of last year’s meetings having over 8.5 legs — as have all of Cross’s matches in this year’s competition. Though a short price, 1/3 for over 8.5 legs again in this one looks a good way to get the acca underway.
Leg 2 – Over 6.5 180s in Gerwyn Price vs Luke Humphries @ 6/5
These two have already met twice in this year’s Premier League, with one win each. As well as last week’s final they also faced off on Night 2, when it was Humphries who was the victor, winning 6-4 on his way to becoming the champion in Glasgow.
Humphries is the world number one and has started the competition well, topping the table after three rounds, but Price is showing signs of being back to his best. Their two meetings so far have seen some fine darts played, in particular on Night 2 when eight maximums and a 100+ checkout for each was a joy to watch.
Three of the Iceman’s last four BetMGM Premier League games have contained over 6.5 180s, while Humphries hit 681 of them in 2024. Over 6.5 180s in the match at 6/4 has every chance of landing.
Leg 3 – Nathan Aspinall to beat Chris Dobey @ Evens
It was a welcome return to form for Aspinall on Night 4, making the final before falling to the impressive Price. The Asp endured a pretty torrid 2024, struggling with injury and form so it was great to see glimpses of his old self in Dublin.
The 14 maximums he hit were the highest of the night – and almost a third of the overall total – as the Stockport-born thrower saw off Cross and Van Gerwen on his way to the final.
He faces Chris Dobey here with Hollywood in danger of following the same pattern as his last BetMGM Premier League appearance when he made the final on Night 1 but lost five quarter-final ties in a row thereafter.
It won’t be easy for him here against a rejuvenated Aspinall and indeed the Asp has won four of their last five meetings, with Dobey’s last triumph coming in February 2023 – all the way back to that successful Night 1 of the Premier League.
He’s somewhat of a risk these days, Aspinall, but Evens for him to win this one is too good to pass up, especially with the BetMGM’s early payout on three-leg leads meaning that, if he goes three legs ahead at any point, he is a winner on your acca regardless of the final result. More information on that can be found here.
Leg 4 – Luke Littler to be King of the Oche vs Stephen Bunting @ 13/8
It’s been a tough return to the BetMGM Premier League for Bunting.
He sits winless at the foot of the table, the only player yet to get off the mark, and a quarter-final against defending champion Littler probably isn’t the fixture he would have chosen to try to pick up his first points.
Bunting enjoyed a fine 2024 – and kick-started 2025 by winning the Bahrain Masters in January – but he has been unable to show that form in the BetMGM Premier League arena.
He averaged over 100 last week but still lost to Humphries in a game which was a marked improvement on the 6-1 annihilation he suffered at the hands of Van Gerwen a week prior.
These two have met four times and have two wins each. Bunting won the most recent meeting at the Dutch Masters but it is the semi-final clash at the 2025 World Championship that stands out.
A 6-1 win for Littler put him in the final but it was the way he won that was the real standout. With 13 maximums and the highest checkout (a 170, naturally) he was ‘King of the Oche’ and 13/8 for Littler to do that again in Exeter carries great appeal.
Night 4 Odds, Specials and darting Deja Vu
Once again, Lukes Littler 15/8 and Humphries 9/4 head into the event as the two favourites.
They are in separate halves of the draw so a repeat of the final in Glasgow could be on the cards – but there is value to be found elsewhere with last week’s winner Gerwyn Price 7/1 or runner-up, and Exeter winner last year, Nathan Aspinall 18/1 standing out.
We’re yet to see the first perfect leg of this year’s competition but the BetMGM Premier League has been the home of the nine-darter. No competition has contained more nine-dart finishes than this one and it’s 13/2 for the first nine-darter of the campaign to be hit at any point across the evening in Exeter.
The custom-made set of 18ct solid gold darts worth £30,000 awarded by BetMGM to any player who hits a nine-darter is another reason for players to strive for perfection.
It was very much Aspinall’s night at the Westpoint Arena last year. Not only did he win the night he also hit the most 180s with nine and had the joint-highest checkout with 160 alongside Price.
It’s 11/1 for the Asp to hit the most maximums on the night again and 8/1 for him to have the highest checkout. Price, meanwhile, is 5/1 to have the biggest finish across the night.
Markets such as total evening 180s, over/under legs, King of the Oche and specific doubles to be hit are all available throughout this year’s BetMGM Premier League, with a whole host of markets on offer in-play.
Be sure to keep an eye on the BetMGM Premier League Darts Hub as well as our social media channels throughout Night 4.
