ASPINALL ANCHORS 7/1 BETMGM PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS NIGHT 6 ACCA
The 2025 BetMGM Premier League Darts is really starting to take shape after a pulsating Night 5 treated fans to two stunning nine-darters plus a second nightly win for Luke Littler.
Victory in Brighton means the world champion Littler has cut the deficit at the top to just two points as the PDC’s biggest darting roadshow heads to Nottingham for Night 6.
The rest of the players will be looking to narrow the gap opening up at the league summit between them and at least one of the two Lukes, given they play one another in the quarter-finals, and there is value to be found in the other half of the draw in particular.
Here is the full quarter-finals running order for Night 6:
BetMGM Premier League Darts Tips: 7/1 Night 6 Acca
- Over 9.5 legs in Humphries vs Littler
- Dobey to hit most 180s vs Cross
- Price to beat Bunting
- Aspinall to beat Van Gerwen +1.5 legs
Leg 1 – Over 9.5 legs in Luke Humphries vs Luke Littler @ 17/20
Humphries and Littler have already duked it out in two finals and have won four of the five BetMGM Premier League nights between them so far while only one final has featured neither.
For all they have formed an immense rivalry over the last year or so, the BetMGM Premier League meetings between the pair had been rather one-sided.
Littler, who won the Belgian Open last week and the UK Open the one before, had won all six of their clashes before Cool Hand finally got the better of him in this format when claiming the Night 4 final in Exeter.
One thing is certain when these two meet: a close, exhilarating contest. Of their seven Premier League regular season games, four have been won 6-5 and only one has contained fewer than 9.5 legs.
That was back on Night 1 last year, with Littler winning 6-2. Given that history, 17/20 for over 9.5 legs in the match ticks a lot of boxes to kick off the acca.
Leg 2 – Chris Dobey to hit most 180s vs Rob Cross @ 4/7
Fresh from hitting a sensational nine-darter in Brighton, Rob Cross comes up against Chris Dobey in the night’s second quarter-final having made three semi-finals so far without progressing further.
Hollywood, meanwhile, has struggled on the BetMGM Premier League circuit since his run to the final in Belfast. Defeat in the Belgian Open to Dirk van Duijvenbode won’t have helped with his confidence as he heads into this one looking to halt a slide that has seen him fall to seventh place in the table.
However, he does hold the recent edge over Cross. They met back on the first night, with Dobey winning that one 6-4 as well as checking out a 170 and hitting four maximums.
For all his struggles, the 180s are something that the Newcastle thrower has hit consistently. Only Luke Littler (4.96) has averaged more maximum over the five nights so far than his 3.86, and he has outscored his opponent for 180s in four of his seven games.
He needs to find his form to pick up Premier League points but, having hit five more maximums than Cross in one fewer game, Dobey to hit the most 180s in the match at 4/7 appeals regardless of his struggles to win games.
Leg 3 – Gerwyn Price to beat Stephen Bunting @ 4/6
Gerwyn Price remains the only man not called Luke to win a BetMGM Premier League Darts night so far this year.
His win over Nathan Aspinall in the final in Dublin seemed to indicate that the Iceman was somewhat back to his best, yet results since then have not quite built on that. Two consecutive quarter-final defeats have followed but the Welshman finds arguably the perfect opportunity here to get back to winning ways.
Stephen Bunting has endured an opening five nights to forget in the BetMGM Premier League. At times he has been unlucky – averaging over 100 and falling to defeat to Humphries or averaging over 104 and losing to Littler, for instance – but performances like his 6-2 defeat to Aspinall last week haven’t been good enough.
The Bullet did at least make the quarters of the Belgian Open last week before tasting defeat against Ross Smith – he desperately needs to carry some of that form into the Premier League.
Price and Bunting met in the final of the Bahrain Open in January in a game Bunting won 8-4. All signs at that stage pointed to it being another successful year for the 39-year-old but we are yet to see it play out like that.
Unfortunately for the Liverpudlian, we are banking on more BetMGM Premier League misery for him here as odds of 4/6 for Price to win the match represents value that feels too good to turn down.
Don’t forget: with BetMGM paying out early when your player takes a three-leg lead regardless of the final result, there is an added safeguard in backing the match-winner market. More information on that can be found here.
Leg 4 – Nathan Aspinall to beat Michael van Gerwen +1.5 legs @ 13/20
Two quarter-final defeats on Nights 1 and 2 had fans fearing Aspinall’s struggles in 2024 were about to carry over into this year.
Since then the Asp has had two runner-up finishes and a semi-final appearance, meaning the man from Stockport goes into Night 6 third in the table and level on points with his opponent Michael van Gerwen.
The seven-time champion has made it to the semis in four of the five nights to date but without going any further.
It isn’t just in the BetMGM Premier League he is struggling. Defeat in the Belgian Open to world number 106 Boris Krcmar was a shock and, while he defeated Price in his opening match last week, he was then soundly beaten by Littler and has already lost to Aspinall in the Premier League this year.
The Asp, meanwhile, made the final in Nottingham last year and is a player who seems to be returning to some of his best form.
As such, we can’t pass up the 13/20 for Aspinall to win +1.5 legs to complete the acca.
Night 6 Odds, Specials & darting Deja Vu
The top two, Littler (5/4) and Humphries (7/4) are unsurprisingly the favourites for Night 6.
Humphries won in Nottingham last year but, with their early meeting in mind, it may be worth looking elsewhere for value. Price is 17/2 to win at the venue in which he found success in 2023 while beaten finalist last year Aspinall is a tasty 20/1.
Last week in Brighton saw a sensational two nine-darters hit. Both Humphries and Cross checked out the perfect leg to not only get us off the mark for the 2025 season but also claim their custom-made set of 18ct solid gold darts worth £30,000 from BetMGM.
It’s 6/1 for a nine-darter to be hit at any point across the night this week and if you fancy two or more for the second consecutive night it's a whopping 66/1.
During Cool Hand’s win in Nottingham last year he dropped only eight legs in total on his way to victory and hit the most maximums of any player with 12. He is 11/2 to hit the most 180s again this time round.
With his nine-darter last week Cross will fancy his chances of claiming highest checkout honours for the second night in a row – and he’s a decent 7/1 to do so.
Markets such as total evening 180s, over/under legs, King of the Oche and specific doubles to be hit are all available throughout this year’s BetMGM Premier League, with a whole host of markets on offer in-play.
Be sure to keep an eye on the BetMGM Premier League Darts Hub as well as our social media channels throughout Night 6.
