Champions League Quarter-Final 2nd Leg Betting Tips
Barcelona are 2/1 favourites to be crowned UEFA Champions League winners after a dominant first-leg win over Borussia Dortmund, with defending champions Real Madrid suffering a heavy first-leg defeat at Arsenal last week.
Fellow Premier League hopefuls Aston Villa had a less positive first leg as they lost at PSG, while Inter Milan return to the San Siro with a first-leg lead to protect against Bayern Munich.
Tip 1 – Aston Villa win or draw double chance @ 3/4
Aston Villa vs PSG: Tuesday 20:00
Team news
Donyell Malen and Andres Garcia are both ineligible for Tuesday’s hosts and Leon Bailey is a doubt. PSG centre-back Marquinhos returns from suspension for this trip to Villa Park, leaving Luis Enrique with a full contingent of players to choose from.
Aston Villa win or draw double chance @ 3/4
Aston Villa have it all to do against PSG, but Unai Emery has put his faith in his side’s record at Villa Park and they should make a game of it on Tuesday.
The Villains are unbeaten since October on home soil, including positive results against Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Juventus.
Les Parisiens are in great form, but they did lose at Arsenal and Bayern Munich earlier in the campaign and would settle for any result that takes them into the semi-finals.
Tip 2 – Raphinha to score or assist @ 10/11
Borussia Dortmund vs Barcelona: Tuesday 20:00
Team news
Borussia Dortmund are without key duo Marcel Sabitzer and Nico Schlotterbeck for this second-leg tie, with Filippo Mane also sidelined and Cole Campbell a doubt.
Marc Bernal was injured against Leganes on Saturday and joins Marc Casado, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Alejandro Balde on the sidelines for Barca.
Raphinha to score or assist @ 10/11
Raphinha put in another stellar performance in the first leg as he equalled Lionel Messi’s record for goal involvements in a single Champions League campaign, and he can make that record his own in the return leg.
The Brazilian suffered a slow start to life at Barca, but he heads to Dortmund with 25 goals and 15 assists in all competitions. Eight of those goal involvements have come in his last five starts and he can star against a side who have conceded 10 goals in their last five matches.
Tip 3 – Both teams to score @ 4/7
Real Madrid vs Arsenal: Wednesday 20:00
Team news
Eduardo Camavinga is one of three confirmed absentees for Real Madrid, alongside Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal, after being sent off in the first leg, while Ferland Mendy and Andriy Lunin are doubts.
Midfield duo Jorginho and Thomas Partey are both doubts after taking knocks against Brentford, with Ben White another doubt and potentially joining Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Riccardo Calafiori, and Gabriel Magalhaes on the sidelines for Arsenal.
Both teams to score @ 4/7
Real Madrid need to start on the front foot at the Bernabeu after their heavy loss in London and that should pave the way for an entertaining affair in the Spanish capital.
Both teams have scored in 10 of Los Blancos’ last 11 competitive home games and Arsenal will be keen to punish any openness at the back and put this tie to bed as early as possible.
Tip 4 – Lautaro Martinez to score anytime at 21/10
Inter Milan vs Bayern Munich: Wednesday 20:00
Team news
Denzel Dumfries should return to fitness after missing the first leg in Munich, but Stefan de Vrij is still expected to be out for hosts Inter. Bayern Munich are hoping Manuel Neuer is fit to feature, but Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano are both sidelined for the rest of the season.
Lautaro Martinez to score anytime at 21/10
Lautaro Martinez had an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, but the Inter Milan forward has kicked into life and was the star of the show as the Italians won in Munich last week.
The Argentina international has scored in five of his last eight appearances and has netted four in four home appearances in the Champions League this term.
He has scored 13 times since the turn of the year and should get a few openings against a Bayern side who need to play on the front foot.
