Premier League Gameweek 31 Betting Tips: 160/1 Accumulator
After a full round of midweek fixtures, the Premier League makes a quick return this weekend with all 20 teams in action across three days.
The standout fixture takes place on Sunday afternoon, when Manchester rivals United and City go head-to-head at Old Trafford (16:30).
We have selected a four-bet accumulator to consider which, if successful, would return at around 160/1.
Tip 1 – Draw HT/Arsenal FT @ 10/3
Everton v Arsenal (Saturday, 12:30)
Wednesday’s 1-0 Merseyside derby win for Liverpool was a blow to both of these teams and Arsenal now head to Goodison Park needing a win to stay in touch with Arne Slot’s men.
Everton have improved under David Moyes, since his return to the club in January, but the Toffees have now collected just four points from their last five league games.
Arsenal make the journey to the North West unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions and back-to-back league wins over Chelsea and Fulham have left them 12 points behind the leaders.
Last season’s 1-0 win at Goodison was the Gunners’ only victory at the Toffees’ home ground in their last six visits.
Everton’s lack of goals will be a concern for Moyes, especially with Arsenal having kept clean sheets in three of their last four Premier League away games.
The scores have been level in each of the Blues’ last three games and the Gunners’ last four league away matches, so expect a tight affair for the majority of Saturday’s early kick-off.
Tip 2 – Marco Asensio to score anytime @ 5/2
Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 17:30)
Not many Premier League players are in better form than Aston Villa’s Marco Asensio, who has scored eight goals in all competitions since joining in January.
The 29-year-old has scored two goals in each of Villa’s last three home matches and was also on the scoresheet in the midweek win at Brighton.
Forest’s excellent season has been built around their solid backline, but it has been a different story on the road in recent weeks.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have conceded 13 goals in their last four league away games and Villa’s Spanish star could take advantage.
Tip 3 – Draw – Fulham vs Liverpool @ 11/4
Fulham v Liverpool (Sunday, 14:00)
Both of these teams had tough midweek fixtures, with Fulham beaten at Arsenal and Liverpool grinding out a 1-0 derby win over Everton. The Cottagers, who suffered FA Cup frustration last weekend, have now slipped to ninth and are seven points outside the top four.
Too many draws may cost Marco Silva’s men a place in Europe, with nine of their 30 league matches finishing level.
It’s also worth noting that two of the last three meetings between the sides have finished all square, including a 2-2 draw at Anfield back in December.
Tip 4 – Manuel Ugarte to be booked @ 37/20
Manchester United v Manchester City (Sunday 16:30)
Defending champions City may have been well short of their usual high standards, but they go into Sunday’s Manchester derby still 14 points ahead of their city rivals.
United’s 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday was their 13th league defeat of the season and their main focus now appears to be the Europa League.
The Red Devils sit sixth in the Premier League yellow card stats, averaging 2.16 cautions per game so far this season.
With the home fans demanding a high-energy performance, it could be a busy afternoon for referee John Brooks.
Manuel Ugarte leads the way for cautions for United, with the Uruguayan collecting eight yellows in 22 appearances.
