Tottenham Hotspur Fixtures – 2024/25 Season

Tottenham only just missed out on a top four place last season and, though fifth place looked like it could be good enough for the Champions League, a hammerblow to England’s coefficient ranking meant the fifth spot went to the German Bundesliga instead.

It means Tottenham take a spot in the Europa League spot which, like the Champions League, is operating under a new format this season. Manager Ange Postecoglou will be aiming to break a 16-year trophy drought for the Lilywhites by targeting a Europa League triumph.

Last year Tottenham started the season like a train, going undefeated for the first 10 games while winning eight of them. They will hope to make a similar start to this campaign but they face a tough start with two of their first four games against Newcastle United and Arsenal.

Here, BetMGM examines the Tottenham Hotspur fixtures for the 2024/25 season, picks out the key periods within them and what Spurs will face in their quest to reach the Champions League next year.

Standout Tottenham Hotspur Fixtures

The first game of the season sees Tottenham travel to newly-promoted Leicester City in what is a return to the King Power Stadium for midfielder James Maddison.

The North London outfit signed the playmaker for £40 million last summer and, while he hit the road running in the capital, a series of injuries curtailed his progress and he missed out on Euro 2024 as a consequence.

The beginning to the season is a key period. An away clash with likely top four rivals Newcastle is followed by a North London Derby showdown with bitter enemies Arsenal.

Last season, the Lilywhites scored four goals against the Gunners but only managed to take one point. Can they shore up at the back while maintaining their attacking threat against one of the favourites for the title?

Christmas is always a busy period for football clubs and this year is no different. The Lilywhites are slated to be involved in five games across a three-week period ranging from 14th December 2024 to 4th January 2025.

They face Liverpool (21st December), Wolves (29th December) and Newcastle United (4th January) at home and Southampton (14th December) and Nottingham Forest (26th December) on the road through this part of the schedule.

Tottenham will look to end the campaign on a high amid a tough run-in. Home matches against Nottingham Forest (19th April), Crystal Palace (10th May) and Brighton (25th May) and away games against Liverpool (26th April), West Ham (3rd May) and Aston Villa (18th May).

Spurs are one of the few teams who have been able to stand firm against Manchester City’s recent domestic dominance — they have won five of seven meetings against the champions at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since it opened — so fans will no doubt be keeping an eye out for the two games against Pep Guardiola’s men. Those games take place at the Etihad Stadium on 23rd November before City visit North London on 25th February 2025.
