Wrestlemania 41 Betting Tips
The showcase of the immortals has arrived with WWE WrestleMania taking place on Easter weekend on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The two-day spectacular features a whole host of huge matchups on the card, with none bigger than WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes defending his title against John Cena.
Rhodes has held the title for the past year since winning it at WrestleMania 40 against Roman Reigns. Now he faces his biggest challenge yet against 16-time champ Cena, who shocked the world by turning on Rhodes and becoming a bad guy for the first time since 2003.
Who will have their arm raised and lift championships high when the Super Bowl of sports entertainment reaches its conclusion? Let’s dive into our expert WrestleMania 41 best bets.
Tip 1 – El Grande Americano to beat Rey Mysterio @ 27/20
El Grande Americano is the “luchador” gimmick of Chad Gable, a former Olympian and wrestler who prides himself on being American made. Gable has been waging war on lucha wrestling for months and that will come to a head against the legendary Rey Mysterio. While Mysterio is heavily favoured to win, the value could come with backing El Grande Americano.
Despite his status, Mysterio’s starpower has dropped in recent years and he has largely been used to help build up-and-coming superstars.
With this in mind, it makes perfect sense that El Grande Americano/Gable would pick up the victory to further his story of “taking down” lucha wrestling while also giving him the push he needs to remain one of Monday Night Raw’s budding “bad guys”.
Tip 2 – Tiffany Stratton to beat Charlotte Flair @ 9/10
It’s been a phenomenal year for WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, who won the Money in the Bank ladder match last July and cashed it in to win the title at the start of the year. She defends the championship against Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair, and the champ looks a good price to keep hold of the gold.
While the odds essentially have this one as a pick’em, Stratton coming out on top makes a lot more sense. WWE fans have been increasingly vocal about their displeasure for Charlotte, who enters the match as a 14-time champion and has been at the top of the mountain for many years. WWE have the chance to turn Stratton into a bona fide star with victory here and the likelihood is that that will be capitalised on, similar to when Rhea Ripley beat Charlotte in a five-star classic at WrestleMania 39.
Stratton has yet to have a major title defence and successfully doing so against the winningest women’s champ in history would do wonders for her standing and career.
While Charlotte does have an incredibly high win rate, a victory here does little for her career in the grand scheme of things and the expectation is that Stratton comes out on top in a battling effort.
Tip 3 – Jacob Fatu to beat LA Knight @ 7/20
This is a skinny enough price but it’s hard to see any outcome other than Jacob Fatu winning.
The Samoan Werewolf has looked unstoppable since making his WWE debut less than a year ago and just beat mega-man Braun Strowman in a Last Man Standing match to earn this shot at the United States Championship.
LA Knight is a two-time US champ, having won back the title from Shinsuke Nakamura last month, but his stardom has waned of late. While he is still a fan favourite, the WWE bookers seem much more inclined to continue building Fatu into a potential world-title contender.
Fatu has not been pinned or submitted since arriving on the scene and that record should remain intact.
